How do I convert RGB to HEX?+
Each RGB channel (R, G, B) is converted to its 2-digit hexadecimal equivalent. For example: RGB(255, 0, 0) → Red=FF, Green=00, Blue=00 → #FF0000. Divide each value by 16 for the first digit and mod 16 for the second, then use 0–9 and A–F.
What is the RGB colour model?+
RGB is an additive colour model where Red, Green and Blue light are combined to reproduce a broad range of colours. Each channel ranges from 0 (no light) to 255 (full intensity). RGB(0,0,0) is black; RGB(255,255,255) is white.
What does RGBA mean?+
RGBA adds an Alpha (opacity) channel to RGB. The alpha value ranges from 0 (fully transparent) to 1 (fully opaque) in CSS, or 0–255 in some other systems. This tool outputs CSS-compatible rgba() format.
How do I use RGB in CSS?+
In CSS, use rgb(R, G, B) or rgba(R, G, B, alpha). For example: color: rgb(7, 105, 162); or background: rgba(7, 105, 162, 0.5); Modern CSS also supports color: rgb(7 105 162 / 50%); (space-separated with / for alpha).
What is the range of valid RGB values?+
Each channel (R, G, B) accepts integer values from 0 to 255 inclusive. Values outside this range are clamped: negative numbers become 0, values above 255 become 255. Decimal values are rounded to the nearest integer.
