How do I copy YouTube comments for the picker?+
Scroll through your video comments, select and copy the visible comments. For large numbers of comments, use browser developer tools or YouTube's API to extract comments. Paste them one per line into this tool.
Is this picker truly random?+
Yes. The tool uses JavaScript's cryptographically seeded Math.random() function which is genuinely random. All eligible comments have an equal probability of selection. The animated display doesn't affect which entry is selected.
How does the keyword filter work?+
Enter any word in the filter field (e.g. "subscribed"). Only comments containing that exact word (case-insensitive) will be included in the draw. This allows you to qualify entries by requiring specific actions.
Can I pick multiple winners without repeats?+
Yes. When selecting multiple winners, the tool removes each selected entry from the pool before choosing the next winner, ensuring no duplicate winners in a single draw.
